Damon has been dancing salsa since 2004 and when not dancing he is the 'web wizard' behind the Salsa Montuno, and now Abanico Salsa, websites. He works full time as an IT consultant and enjoys photography - he can often be seen at various salsa events with a camera..!

One of the places he recently travelled to in search of Salsa is New York where he was able to practice dancing Salsa on2 and had a number of lessons with some of the world's best dance schools including Eddie & Maria Torres, Nelson Flores, Yamuleé, and Santo Rico Dance. Whilst in New York he was also able to dance at Salsa nights like Iguana and Club Cache - he says there's nothing like coming out of salsa club to find Times Square directly in front of you!

Damon believes that dancing should be about having fun and everyone should be able to practice, learn and enjoy. He regularly dances 2 - 5 times a week in the South West.
